On April 25-26, 2016, a team of Mayo Clinic radiologists, physicists and technologists who are active in our collaboration with the CT division of Siemens Healthcare presented a series of talks at the CT division headquarters in Forchheim, Germany. During the 2 day meeting, the Mayo team reported on the results obtained over the last year for a wide range of projects, including projects related to photon-counting-detector CT, dual-energy CT, cardiovascular CT, dose reduction in CT, and the clinical impact of the these technical innovations on our clinical practice. The meeting was attended by a large number of Siemens CT research and development team members, as well as leadership in the CT business.
