The CT CIC hosts 8 summer students

The CT CIC is hosting eight students this summer.  Four of the students come to us from the competitive Mayo SURF program, which is a 10-week research fellowship for undergraduate students in their sophomore or junior years at a U.S. college or university who are interested in pursuing admission to a Ph.D. or M.D.-Ph.D. program. Students develop and complete or work on existing research projects.

Our SURF students are Yoon Chung, Philip Holmes, Rachel Schornak, and Jacob Schulz.

The other four students are here under Mayo's UREP program.  The UREP is an hourly paid research employee program for currently enrolled college students who have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies or a high school mentorship through Mayo Clinic.

Our UREP students are Alexander Frandsen, Shannon McCollough, Justine Schneider, and Vighnesh Suresh.
