New CT Image Set Available to Public
Now on The Cancer Imaging Archive, an updated collection of CT scans taken at Mayo Clinic are available to the public. These de-identified patient images and projection data include a wide range of exam types, including head, chest, and abdomen. Highlighted medical issues include acute cognitive or motor deficit, pulmonary nodules, and metastatic liver lesions. This Version 4.0 of the collection (with newly replaced data) is a great resource for researchers, or for anyone curious about what radiologists look at to make a diagnosis.
Mayo Clinic and the CT CIC remain committed as ever to the value set in place at our founding to not just advance the science but share that knowledge as well. That's why with funding from the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering and in partnership with The Cancer Imaging Archive, we make these images available to all. More information on this set can be found under our Resources tab.
