The CT CIC at RSNA 2023
Another November, another Thanksgiving, and another successful RSNA for the CT CIC. See below for some of the hardware we brought from Chicago.
The Trainee Research Prize is awarded by the RSNA Annual Meeting Program Planning Committee to an outstanding scientific presentation in each subspecialty presented by a resident, fellow, medical student or physics trainee. The CT CIC winners for 2023:
Anika Dutta, for “Quantitative in Vivo Assessment of Wrist Trabecular Microarchitecture with Photon-counting-detector (PCD) CT,” coauthors Andrea Ferrero, Kishore Rajendran, Cynthia McCollough, and Francis Baffour.
Emily Koons, for "Quantification of Coronary Artery Stenosis from Dense Calcifications using Ultra-High-Resolution Photon-Counting-Detector CT," coauthors Prabhakar Rajiah, Jamison Thorne, Nikki Weber, Holly Kasten, Elisabeth Shanblatt, Cynthia H. McCollough, and Shuai Leng.
The CT CIC also won a pair of Certificates of Merit for our Educational Exhibits:
