Welcome, Dr. Mariana Yalon

Mariana Yalon, M.D. is a recent graduate of a diagnostic radiology residency and a later abdominal imaging fellowship at Rabin Medical Center, Israel. She received her medical degree with honors at the Medical School University of Debrecen, Hungary.

Her research thesis project was on the topic of “Long term outcome of the endovascular treatment for Abernethy malformations, with emphasis on portal hypoplasia.” During her work at Rabin Medical Center, she collaborated with the gastroenterology department on research in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Her main passion is abdominal imaging and research in improving image quality while reducing radiation dose. She is excited and humbled to be joining the CT CIC as a research fellow.
