A new paper by CT CIC authors is now available on the Medical Physics website for early view.

In "Technical note: Evaluation of artificial 120-kilovolt computed tomography images for radiation therapy applications" the authors tested a recently available (and potentially more efficient) reconstruction technique to determine how it compares to previous methods. Early results with non organic models appear to be promising and may lead to improvements in dose calculation.

As new techniques and methods are developed, the CT Clinical Innovational Center will be there as a leader in the field.
